How to Pack Delicate Items: Preventing Breaks and Leaks

It is time for the big move and you have a lot of packing to do. You need to make sure that you protect your most delicate items and prevent any breaks or leaks during the move. The best way to protect your smaller breakable items is to wrap them in a commercial bubble wrap that you can purchase at most stores. You can also take the time to wrap them in towels or any other material that will help to keep them safe against the bumps and bruises that go along with moving. If you have larger furniture that is very important and delicate than you should get some large blankets to wrap the items in. Once you have them all wrapped in the blankets, pack them in a way so that nothing can really rub up against them. You really want to pack your things tightly to prevent any damage. When you are moving your liquids, you should put them all into their own separate bags. The bags that seal are perfect to prevent any leaks from ruining other things. Once you have them separately bagged, you should also store them with bubble wrap or some soft towels.
